GentleWave UltraCleaning Procedure

At Lower Gwynedd Endodontics

The mere mention of undergoing a root canal therapy makes many individuals cringe. However, we are thrilled to introduce an innovative alternative for root canal treatment. Thanks to the patented technology of the GentleWave® Ultracleaning Procedure, we can now offer our patients a root canal procedure that is not only faster and more dependable but also considerably more comfortable. Due to the intricate nature of tooth root systems, traditional root canal methods rely on a series of files to eliminate bacteria and damaged material, often struggling to access all the nooks and crannies.

RETREATMENT

For a variety of reasons, root canal treatment may occasionally be unsuccessful, at which point additional treatment becomes necessary. One purpose of an evaluation from the dentist is to identify specific causes of a dental problem and determine whether or not…

CRACKED TEETH

Enamel, which covers the teeth and is the hardest substance in the human body, has its limits. Chewing on hard candy or ice, biting down too hard, receiving a blow to the face, or grinding your teeth in your sleep could all cause a tooth to chip or crack. Poor hygiene and cavities can also weaken our teeth and make them…

APICOECTOMY

Sometimes, the best way to surgically re-treat a failing root canal is to approach it through the root instead of the crown. This approach is apical surgery or apicoectomy (surgery on the apex, or tip, of the root). Apical surgery may be indicated in the case of persistent, well-established infections…
